I did'nt buy this kit, but a friend is very interested and he asked some informations about it. I don't like the differents colors of it. So I ordered new ZN pattern named Integral.
Have you some information about Oxalys Evolution ?
My friend Wolfgang of Modelltechnik-Lorenz told me he sold many kit of Oxalys
(he is dealer of TS Composite)

Just for your information .... my buddy that we share the same workshop just ordered THREE (3) "GOLD Kit" Oxalys Evolution full composite, WC 2005 pattern 's CPLR, for his F3A NATS participation from TS Composite Italy. 1730Euro is the price for each

Once we recieved them I promise to post kit detailed pictures.

Can't wait the kits .....:D

Estimation of delivery is mid May.

I also purchased a Oxalys Evolution full composite Gold kit and I am arranging the shipping.
Once I get it (Expected in 2 weeks) I will also post a detailed article about the kit with pictures of the assembly and flying Video of P07. I talked to CPLR several times as to the kit and I cant wait to get it and try it. I have already purchased YS160DZ Engine for it and along with the Futaba T14MZ system I should finally have a good F3A equipment.

GOOD NEWS !!!

Please let me know of what CPLR thinks of the TS Composite kit ? What did he tell you about his replica ?

My buddy inssists on 140RX and Fut 9ZAP-WCII. I wish he could afford switching to 14MZ but his savings are on 3 NEW aircrafts.

Jumping from .60 size to 2x2 and trying to be competitive is a big investement.

Hi,
CPLR is telling that he tested the kit and that it flys even better then the original oxalys due to its new wings geometry.
If the weight sceme of the plane is as TS stated, then it should be a good model. CPLR is planning to fly such kit in EC2006 Swiss.

Weigth of finished wing without servo is 850 g. Total weight estimated of wing is about 950 g without wing tube. Plane already to flight without fuel is about 4700 g (Yamada engine).

and Adam...advantages with the 14 mz ...you can listen to your favorite Mp3 files during flite!!
no just kidding ..i have 2 Futaba 9Z and are wery happy with those ! dont see any need to replace them yet just to have the latest dont think that makes me a better pilot ...just more practice will do that!!

I have a 9 ZAP WC2, great radio. I'm very happy with it and I didn't need another. I like possibility of severals flights conditions on one interrupteur.
Amram, when you'll receive your pattern, thanks for pictures. Please 'll inform us about weights of different elements.

I am planning to do an in-details report about the kits once we recieved them.
I will post pictures of the kit as well weighted items.

I am also very curious about the way it's built up !!!

Amram put a finger in my mind about CPLR impression of the kit.

Keep in mind that it is a ONE wing plane since it is a CPLR Oxalys exact replica.

Hello to all,
Anyone can contact Sergio at TS (he is very helpfull) and get the parts maximum allowed weight.
On the paper it looks good. However, we had experience with new vendors were
The stated weight was not the actual. I do not think it is the case here as CPLR
Told me that he tested the model and he would not approve TS to sell it unless it is ok.
Still, I will get it and weight each part and report to all.

I am not familiar with the 9ZAP (till now I had the 8UAF) so I cannot comment.
But comparing the 8UAF to the T14MZAP, T14MZAP features many more valuable functions.

They have informed us that it will be here after the 3d week of May, so I believe from day to day. Maximum end of month !!!

This period things are quite calm down here.

Most of the R/C guys that fly Pattern are also flying other categories. So this time some of them (5-7) are preparing for the Q-500 NATS next weekend 20-21 May.

The period goes something like this, 3 all around(regional) meetings and a final let's say, but most of the years was JUST one weekend event.
3 categories 1. F3A-FAI 2. F3AGR-A (advanced) 3. F3A-GR-B(novice)

Usually the Top category (FAI) is a group of 5-10 pilots plus some from CYPRUS.
The F3AGR-A is something like 15 and the F3AGR-B something like 20.
The main problem is that we can have much more than this but most of the people are having troubles with the dates since they are working or they are students since NATS are held on October.

More or less the situation is not so sunny as the weather.

Anyway we are trying for the best !!!

I just came back from the long weekend at the 4th Cyprus F3A open so I intencialy delayed the shipment.
I did not want the box to sit in custom and wait for me. I hope to get it next week. Report will follow.

The first kit arrived at 14:00 today!!!!!

It's a huge carton box 2,20mx80cmx60cm. It's like a refrigirator !!!!!!

I didn't see it so far since we have the NATS for Q500 and I'm ont hte event but my buddy went nuts when opened it!!!!
He called me on the cell and he was so happy and so amazed by the box dimensions as well the quality of the kit. He told me that it's like a diamond ...... can't wait to grab it in my arms.
The model it's glowing of beauty and work quality.

No more on this issue as I forced him to put it on a scale and weight it ..... The scale is not so accurate since he uses it to scale envelops and very small parcels.
Results :
Fuselage with undercowl 960grms
Wing approx 960 grms
Stabilators 240grm
Rudder 80 grms
Canopy approx to 200grms but the lexan needs to be cutted since it is as from the vacum.

The paint is excellent but there are some scrathes .........

The kit comes allong with carbon wheel pants even for the tail wheel.

More on this tommorow since I'm gonna have pictures to post them.

the TC and the silver protective capote are part of the Gold kit that are missing from this box.

I am expecting two more Oxalys Gold Kit end of next week along with the missing TC and the protective cover.
