DSM2 and DSMX satellites

Is there a difference between these two satellites or are they interchangeable??

They are NOT interchangeable - that's why there are two different versions.

The DSM2 version is for all your existing DSM2 receivers (AR6200, AR7000, AR9000). The DSMX one is needed for the AR6210, AR7010, AR8000, AR9210, etc.
