Surface radio problems
I have an airtronics mx3fg 2.4ghz radio and my range is only about 150feet on level ground. If the top of my truck if tilled twards me i can get about 300ft. Range is very important since im running a revo brushless on 6s, geared for 80. I vant get to full speed without loosing it. From what i read about this radio, and 2.4gh in general, something is wrong. How can i determine if the problem the tx or rx? I have no other radios.
Im also considering just buying a new radio. The mx3fg has everything i need, specifically end point adj, and throttle/steering curves. I like the looks too. Really i want another one but im worried with all the trouble im having now.
Any radio recommendations? My price range is $100ish.
EDIT: Hows thw mx3 sport($100)? Or for an upgrade mx3x($200)? Whats the difference between these?
EDIT: how about the futaba 3pmx? Althoug id like to stick with airtronics so i can salvage my old tx or rx.
