I would like to have information on how to re-plate a worn trace on printed circuit board of the transmitter for a Radio Shack Radio controlled car.

"Worn" ? How has the trace become worn? If something was physically rubbing it to cause it to wear that certainly would cause it to be worn, but what's rubbing inside the transmitter?

Anyway, the usual repair for a failed trace, usually burnt from a short circuit or someone being ham fisted with the soldering iron, is to fix the short circuit or slap the dummy with the soldering iron and then use a small piece of wire soldered to each end of the bad trace to complete the circuit.

Of course, if the bad trace WAS caused by poor soldering iron technique, it may be best to have someone better versed in soldering complete the repair.....

As another idea, some situations can be repaired using the copper-based paint sold at auto parts stores designed for repairing defroster lines on windows.
