9C Flapperon programming question
#1
I'm trying to get a aileron/flaps mix setup on my 9C. Everything seems to be working fine except to activate the flaps I have to turn the VR-A knob. Is there any way to get the flap activation moved to a switch?

Go to your AUX Channel menu and change it from the knob to a switch.
It is in the main menu on the second page.

Thanks, don't know why I couldn't find that before.
To get it to work I had to put the flaps on one of the 3 position switches. When they were on a 2 position switch, the flaps were all the way up instead of being neutral when the switch was in the off position but that's not a big deal.
Again thanks for the help.

RTN,
The ideal way to do this is: in the auxch screen, assign cahnnel 6 to NULL.
now go to prog mixes, pick a mix you arent using.
master = OFFSET
slave = FLAP
switch - (desired switch and position)
RATE = 100% (for starters, adjust as needed to get actual desired down flaperons)
TRIM (not available)
LINK ON
This will "offset" or move your flaps a preset portion of their total travel.

Thanks for the info
I must be doing something wrong because when I set channel 6 to null, one of the ailerons stops moving. I've been playing with so much that my TX battery is dead so I'll try some more after a charge.

Sounds like you might need to plug your left aileron into channel 5 instead of 6........I had the same problem on my Ultra Stick when I set it up in my 9C, but I can't remember exactly what I did to correct it........
