Default 7th channel

What is the 7th channel on a receiver do? I can not make it work anything hooked to it.

If you've only got a 6-channel Tx, the 7th channel on your receiver won't do anything except let you plug the battery into it....at least that's all I can do with my Airtronics 6-channel TX and 7-channel RX!

If it is a futaba receiver and a 4 channel transmitter, channel 7 will be ailerons.
It is a fluke that is unsupported by Futaba but does exist on the R127DF
