Default Transmitter Battery Question

I need to cycle my transmitter battery to get an idea if I need to replace it. I don't have any type of cycler at the moment is there anything I can rig up to do this until I get a battery cycler?

Default RE: Transmitter Battery Question

If the battery is 5yrs or older I suggest you replace it with a new high capacity NIHh pack. You can make a new 2500 NIMH pack for $18.

Default RE: Transmitter Battery Question

Turn on the transmitter and see how long it take to run down.
A lot of my batteries are more tha five years old and they still work fine.
I have a cordless drill that still works like new. I bought it in 1993 and it still has the battery that came with it.
