Futaba 9CAS & 9CHS Transmitter
hi all,
just wana ask what the diffrent between Futaba "9CAS" & "9CHS" Transmitter?
i wan to use for my airplane

9CAS is for airplanes, 9CHS is for helicopters.
Throttle doesn't ratchet on the 9CHSi and I think the switch config may be a little different.
Get the 9CAS.

The H has a smooth throttle and the switches are laid out for helicopter use. If you purchase a whole set the H also comes with a bigger receiver battery (1000mah vice 600) and better ball bearing servos.
Also when you enter programming mode the A defaults to aircraft and the H defaults to Helicopter programming but either can be switched. The software is identical it just depends what the defaults are.
As for the switches there is 2 small toggles on the top, a 2 position and 3 position. On the H version the 3 position is on the left which we use for idle ups, on the A its on the right for 3 postion flaps or such. Also the spring loaded trainer switch is on the left on the A version and the right on the H version.
