Probably part of the circuitry inside is going bad. Try another servo.

Do you mean it is a servo dedicated to turning then nose gear? Do you have a mix in your tx to turn it off when the gear is retracted? A little more info on your setup would be helpfull. What servo are we talking about, what is the plane it'sin? What tX are you using?

There are so many possibilites, itis impossible to give a good answer untill more infor about your setup is avaiable.

From what youhave given us, the list of possibilities looks like this and in no order of importance.

Stripped gear, giving the gear train a dead spot
Intermentent electronics in the servo
poor crimp, connection between the servoand the receiver
unexpected mix in the TX turning off the servo
If it is atrike gear, possible that you are pulling up elevator and lifting the nose gear off the ground and loosing stearing (after flying onlytail draggers fora couple years, I put a trike gear trainer back into service. Icouldn't stear it on the ground for beans. I finally discovered I waspulling full up elevator after landing likeI do in the tail dragers and lifting the nose wheel. Youjust can't stear themwhen the wheel is off theground)

Let us knowwhat your setup is andwe can narrow down the possibilites a bit.

That's the trouble with this forum. I'm think airplanes and he's asking about cars. I jumped to the wrong conclusion.
