can someone explain how a car goes to the speed, and how do you know once it has changed gear?

when the car shifts the RPM's drop and the car gets a suden burst of speed. the 2-speed works by letting out a show the grabs a pin in the 2-speed hub

It's like an air intake, that "big blue tube" is sucking in air from the front of the car and raming it into the carb. In theory, it will give more horsepower.

I've made 2 versions of a cold air intake for my car but I haven't run with either of them yet to see what it will do,I'm still messing with the needles after putting the stock composite pipe on instead of the CVEC that made it run like crap.I always figured this would be a good mod for the TC3 since the airfilter sits behind the heatsink under the body and sucks in mostly hot air.I'm sure a better airfilter would do the same thing but I just like to mess with stuff and make stuff to look like its on a real car...one thing though,it can't hurt unless you can't tune an engine.
