Default problem

my new yokomo car I got about 3 weeks ago has been acting kind of weird, it will not turn on without me pressing the throttle a bit, and when I do get it running it will shut off in about 7 seconds, my dad said he has been messing with the idle screw and trying to get it to work, so yeah that might be the problem, and if it is how do i get it back to normal, thanks, bryan.

Lean out the low speed needle. It is to rich and is flamming out.
Pete
P.S. Only lean it 1/16 of a turn or 1/8th of a turn.
