Hi, I just got a brand new used tc3. I can't wait to run it. is there any thing that I need to do? I order a new non pull start fly wheel and a complete screw set to replace all of the screws on the bottom of the chassis.
What can I do to keep them from getting all beat up again?
It seems like the chassis at the rear end has rubed on the pavement alot.

Hi,

I'm getting a used NTC3 in a few days and I would like to know if [link=http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=421_389_390&products_id=16218]these[/link] shocks would fit. It says they're made for the Kyosho V-One and FW05 series cars. I'm just new to onroad and I just don't want to buy something that wont fit and can't be exchanged.

Thanks

Buy a new one. Also for you upgrades the aluminum diff gears seam to be a good upgrade, and that is what i will buy next, but if your not breaking anything then tires are always good to have.

I use NITRO SHOES foam tires they have more grip than rubber. I can run my NTC3+ at full speed and have total control, also stop in have the distance than rubber tires. I have 3 NTC3+'s and will never run rubber tires again. They are very slick at top speed. ALSO the rears are wider for extra grip. You can search NITRO SHOES on EBAY and find good prices.

I dont race I just run parking lots and on my street. I cant tell the difference. But I looked and two of mine happen to both 45 on front and 42 on rear. Not sure whats on the other one. For the price you can get four pairs, two different rear and two different fronts and that will let you feel the difference.

What's wrong with the stock shocks? If you have the standard NTC3 then you'll have threaded aluminum bodies...if you have an RTR then the preload adjusters use clips, but you can always upgrade the bodies themselves and just transfer the internals. My NTC3 is well over 3 years old and I'm still using the kit shocks. They've put up with two years of racing with no leaks.

Iw ould like to know how to put picture in a post. I think i have some really good pictures that would benifit all those out ther in rc land. IF anyone can tell me how i would really appriciate it i probably could figure it out in time. But think it would be so much easier if someone could tell me how to go about it.
Thanks

hey all, sorry to stray off topic but i need help. I know that i need "the fix" for my ntc3. I did a search and all the companies that used to sell the fix are out of business or no longer have the parts needed for the fix. I have also tryed ebay but no luck, i was hoping one of you guys could help me out with a link to any place that sells the fix.

I don't think anyone actually sells it anymore. Here's a [link=http://www.nitrorc.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6647]How-To[/link] for the fix.

Apparently, this stand off should fit correctly to assemble "the fix"

the easiest way to explain offset is by the the positioning of the tire patch in relation to the car. on stock tire if you notice the center hole for the whell nut is to the outermost edge of the tire this is considered "NO Offset" now if you remove that tire and replace it with a diffrent one with that same mounting hole closer to the inner part of the tire then you have a "Offset" now when i referr to inner and outer part of the tire i mean the tire as if you are looking at the tire from the top of the car down the inner would be the side of the tire closeest to the car and the outter side the outside. LOL SOOOOOOOOOOOO if you have a Offset wheel you make your tires wider apart from each other and this gives you a wider stance and makes the car more stable

Hope that helps
