Default Need help with 4-tec

I was just cruising around with my car outfront and i accidentaly ran it through the rocks in my front yard. The car completely stopped and the wheels wouldnt spin at all. afer looking at it forever i think the gears coming right off the flywheel are binding up everytime pressure is applied or a load is put on them they bind up.....i can rock the gears and get them lose but then the car will only drive for like 10 ft. had anyone ever had this happen or know what to do? do i need to jsut replace them with new gears? thanks alot for any help

tear it down and completely clean out all the rocks and dirt out of the gears and pulleys and make sure you didnt smoke any of the belts or cogs, and stay out of the dirt lol...

your transmission gears are messed up. if the gears are binding a chance they are sitting crooked. sometimes the set screw backs out of the car and makes the gears bind up. anyways take of your transmission gears and inspect the 1st and 2nd transmission (the little silver discs) if they are bad you might have to replace them they are usually 16 dollars a piece. might be the problem.
