Those gears are nice but I can't locate the seller on ebay. The difference is $20( just guessing) gears or $150 trany. My trany works fine and since I am just bashing around I would rather just find steel gears. Thanks for the help!

RE: kyosho inferno gt ready sey
I just purchased a Inferno Gt that I am converting to electric. Any ideas on the 2-speed set up or who makes a brushless conversion kit. Looking at running a Mamba Monster with either the 2650 and 4 cells or the 2200 with 6 cells. Are the bodys still available? Thanks

wait for the experts on brushless conversion for more info on the 2spd or...you can do a search on the GT boards.

Thanks for the help. Finished with a Brushless Losi 8ight off-road buggy. Want to try on-road. Looking to push close to 100mph if possible. Using a RC Monster motor mount, Tekin RX8 w/ 1550kv motor and 5 cell lipo. Decent speed not where want to be. Will keep trying other things to make faster. Have been trying to make 1/10 faster, but vehicle not heavy enough. Loosing traction around 50+mph.

Sounds like you're building a fast brushless GT car.
If you're looking for a body that offers great stability, without the typical high aerodynamic wind resistance, you might want to try the Warrior.
I know a "street racer" with a brushless IGT2 that has been clocked at 101mph with it.
Last time I spoke with him, he said he felt it could still go faster.

Anyone know a good source for part for the inferno gt? You can find some stuff on ebay but even that is limited to what I can find. I am looking for the clutch bell bearings. I lost one and I can seem to fine them. I found one on ebay but he wanted $10 for just 1 bearing.

Thanks for the info on the body. Do you know where I can get one? Using the original Ferrari body now. Getting a little scratched up with people not knowing how to drive. Thanks

Sharp looking body. I found them at Winners Circle RC the other night when I was looking for foam tires for the GT. I finally clocked the car with the setup noted above and got 50mph with a 6 cell. I found a nice pricey conversion that I can get as just the conversion kit or the RTR brushless gt2 that should get me where I want to be at 100+mph. The company claims 100mph out of a 3 cell lipo. I had the GT up for sale on RCU but no luck selling it. I'm thinking about putting it back up for sale but as a roller with the brushless motor mount. I took the brushless system out of it and put it in Losi 8ight buggy. I'm also going to put the buggy up for sale. Selling both will get me close to purchasing the RTR and I'll still have the Mamba Monster system.

Last weekend saw the running of the 2010 Ipanema Sports US GT National Championships at Leisure Hours Hobbies in Joliet Il.
The Ipanema Blackhawk Warrior has proven itself once again.
If you want your GT car to be faster than the rest, the Warrior body is a must.
See ya at the races!
