Default Metal Shielded Bearings vs. Rubber Shielded

What do you guys prefer? I race on road and its been my experience that metal shielded bearings offer the least rolling resistance. I also know that metal shielded bearings get dirty quicker and require a bit more maintenance as opposed to the rubber shielded ones. I mainly just want to see what you guys prefer.

Depends on their use...rubber ones are used at the diffs and the inner engine to seal from liquid leaks. Metal ones are used anywhere else than that like for example at the shafts.

Rubber sealed EVERYWHERE other then the clutch. The seals will loosen up pretty fast and give you just as good rolling resistance for sure. Plus like you said, they keep more of the crap out. If you can go with ceramic with the rubber seals, these have the Least resistance of all plus they are lighter and stronger and can handle higher temps with no problems. Just make sure they are of good quality. You get what you pay for.
