Default .18tz on rs4 racer 2 bad idea?

I guess I didnt do enough research but I bought an OS .18tz motor for my rs4 racer 2. This motor mounts fine on the car, but the crankshaft is long and my old flywheel and gears wont fit on the crankshaft because the holes for them are too small. I think I can make this work but so far it seems like a hassle. What kind of flywheels fit on this motor, and where can i get the right gear that will slide over the crankshaft?

I think ferrarimk13 knows a trick with a nut that comes for the NTC3. Ask him...he owns that engine too.

yeah, if it comes with the rotary carb, and all threaded, short shaft, u use the NTC3 clutch nut like Gynaikas said, as an extender. u would put the flywheel shim and the brass conical spacer, then flywheel. Put the clutch nut on, stick your clutch shoes on, install the springs, bearing, clutch bell, bearing, shims, and then just threadlock the screw to the end of the clutch nut. Your stock clutch should work fine, but u might want to get a lightweight flywheel, and new clutch shoes, incase they are worn.

Heres some pictures with it in, I definitly need a new flywheel atleast... but actually as you can see in the first pick, the drive shaft isnt long enough to reach the gears... not sure what to do here?

Also since were on the subject. Before I put the motor on, i tried to just free spin it with my hand to see if it went up and down smoothly, as it got towards the top, it became harder, pretty much impossible for the piston to reach the top, i took the outer head off and the inner head off to take a look at the piston, when it would rise up, the piston would want to push the cylinder up about a mm, the rise and fall smoothly, is this normal?

I used to have a .12 cvx...
