i wanted to know is it possible to put a 3 speed tranny on a rs4 super nitro?

Hmmm...I don't have a clue...the only 3-speed tranny I've ever seen was on a very old 1:8 racer.

i dont think itll fit in between the gear hole thing on the chassis, and idt they make one anyways.

Schumacher use a 3 speed tranny on some of their cars. I doubt if it would be worth the effort (even if it could be done) to fit it.

I think that a 2speed is more than enough...

yeah, threee gears is a bit bulky

I wouldn't call it bulky as it hardly adds any wieght but its not worth putting one on a small block car.

WHY NOT....I WOULD THINK OF IT AS TRIAL AND ERROR....LETS SAY MY .15 CV-R HAS JUST THE RIGHT RPM WITH A TWO SPEED TRANNY, NOW IF I WAS TO RAISE THE FIRST AND SECOND GEAR BY A TOOTH OR TWO THE TROW IN THE THIRD BUT LOWER IT OR EXTREME TOP SPEED BUT WITH RISK BLOWING THE MOTOR AT FULL-THROTTLE....

There's no possibility to blow the engine cause of transmiton...I don't think there's any 3speed transmition system out there that if modified could suit your car...you'll have to get a 2speed tranny and modify it yourself adding a 3rd gear. Also a 3rd gear should be added to the bell and that's the hardest part.

you coul try out the schumacher one, and modify that to fit, because theres nothing thats drop in.

I wouldn't bother at all, that engine would probably just bog down in 3rd gear rendering it useless anyway.

i just seen something where you can modify the engine its propinch.com i guess they do boring or something....you think that would help or is it like the "SUPERCHARGER".......Hmmmmmm..........?

Put the 3rd gear to engage at very high rpm and get a nitro boost...
