Oh ya, you know me, I love being high... I mean... to keep it outta the rocks and such... lol, JK. I parked the front on the wall and the rear on the floor and then decided where to put the body. Minimum body to tire scraping.

Just wondering... I'm kinda new to electric stuff and runnin kinda cheap electronics. What's gonna burn up first? My Integy Matrix motor, or my Moped Bravo ESC? I've noticed reverse kinda flakes out sometimes. Thought it might be the radio, but I reversed the servo control and had the same results.

it all depends on a crawler i would say the esc ive only had one or two go in all my rc experiance because i waterproof mine but motors aside from replacing brushes and the norm ive prolly had about 12 of em go cuz they were geared for speed.
but in a crawler i would say your esc will go first

Hey OSUWINS, I think it looks like you did the exact stage 2 set-up? If so I would move the lower links back out towards the shocks even if its in place of the spacer, otherwise it gives way too much axel steer. I had mine like that but moved em in, just try driveing up a wall and the rear end will probablly take off to the left instead of following the front. I might be wrong but just try it out.

Yeah mine climbed the wall before but the rear just didnt follow the front but if yours seems fine forget about it. I think they make the bent links so if your climbing a ledge or something on an angle you have just that little bit of extra clearance. Did you do the four link conversion? It makes a big difference if you correct the pinion angle on the rear diff so it lines up with you drive shaft better and its not so vulernable with the bent links.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7048777/tm.htm Check this out the 6th post down theres a pic of my four link plate I made then a pic of it from the side showing a better pinion angle. There not the best pics but if you look at the first post in the thread there are pics of my first attempt at a four link plate but it was too short and the pinion was same as stock. Mind you I didnt have the Ckrc heavy duty bent links then but it does make a difference in clearance and binding the joint on the drive shafts. Either way the drive shaft will get scratched up, you should see my body after saturday in the rocks and the green stock links on the front look like I took a grinder to em.

I think your gonna have to swap your links and shocks around. If your gettin the Delrin skid plate your gonna have to move your links in towards the middle. Here's a pic from RCCrawler. http://www.rccrawler.com/articles/axialcompbuild/9.JPG it shows how the links are setup. I just finshed the CKRC Stage 2 upgrade and it articulates way better with the links in the center.

I finished the Stage 2 upgrade and took it out to get scratched up. We're house sitting for my girlfriends parents and they have some rocks out back for me to play on. Yeah. I took a bunch of pics and vids. Need to find a decent place to upload my vids to.

Here are some pics of my AX-10..........since these pics i've changed a few things but i love this thing. I havent got to take it outside yet because i live in upper michigan and its only been upto about 20 degrees F latley. I've tortured it as much as i can inside and havent broke anything. as you can see I need to get a lipo pack to mount on the front axle. I took a spare piece of lexan from the wheel well of the body and cut it to fit on the front links, I mounted the Novak GOAT ESC on it and it works great and doesnt interfere with anything. I also used heavyduty velcro and mounted the Spektrum SR3000 receiver to the transmission. I already "star cut" the foams and added 7.5oz of stick weights inside the tires to the front rims so i think with a split 6 cell battery pack that would be too much weight on the front axle everything else it has is listed below the pics. Thanks for any advice or comments!

Before you cut body mount holes, you might want to consider moving the posts up to avoid hanging up. You'll prob end up doing it later anyway and thus, no extra body holes.
