I want to get a crawler for my dad for christmas but dont know what to get him he wants something scale but still a capable crawler i have around 400 to spend incuding a battery can you help

The closest thing to an outta the box scaler is gonna be the new Axial SCX10 that should be out before Christmas. It'll have a street price around $300 or so I believe. But it will still need electronics...
