I'm as new as you can get with crawling and know nothing about it. I'm no going to be using the truck for ONLY crawling, but a somewhat bash truck also.. We don't have too many rocks in Pensacola, FL, so I will mostly set up obstacles and rocks and what not.. I own two nitro vehicles; a Jato 3.3 and a T-maxx 2.5. I think I want the summit. So far I've been the most impressed with it. The only thing is; its EXPENSIVE. It there any good crawler that will go everywhere like the summit? But now as expensive?

Simple answer, No.
The Summit is a different animal than a crawler. You might want to check out a rock racer if you have the need for speed

If you want to bash and do some mild crawling, the Summit isn't a bad choice. I have one and while it's no match for a dedicated crawler, my dedicated crawlers can beat it for bashing. People seem to dislike it since it's not great at either - but it's decent at both and quite fun.

I ended up getting the losi mini crawler yesterday.. I'm very satisfied with it..

Well, I see you already made your purchase, but... I have a Clod based crawler/basher that does VERY WELL at both. My reccomendation would've have been to build yourself a custom Clod based rig, but I was too late!
