thanks for the reply and for the links ,i understand the different sails for different wind but im wondering how i could make a smaller sail for her for windy days? does it need to be a different shape? or just narrower?.

well iv oredered some rip stop for the sails off ebay i ordered red and got a 3 mtr roll thats 60 inches wide so should be enough for a few sets so ill try making some smaller ones for windy days any advice on what shape to make them?.
