Bugatti 100P - 1939
When I was in college trying to become an aerospace engineer, long before I knew there was a Bugatti, I sketched up my perfect aerodynamic airplane. I was very surprised, except for using the Spitfires eliptical wing and a pusher prop, I drew something that looked very much like this beautiful racer.

Not only absolutely gorgeous in that traditional racing blue, but hugely advanced for its time... I'd have one.

I'm not one to fawn over airliners, but I think you got to add the Conny to the list. Long legs, big cans, and plenty of curves - there's not a straight line on it. To me it seems to have an iconic art deco feel that will never be outdated.

Three pieces of tail was too much for any one man to handle.

Three pieces of tail... lol Actually... just too expensive!
Hey Neddy191, I'm partial to Golden Age and love Aeroncas. Too bad the LC isn't painted properly in photo. Paul Matt has excellent 3-views from which to build model. From what aircraft are those 'dragonfly' wings in the background? Look similar to Israel 'Redhead' wings.

Since you're using anthropomorphism to the Connie, you do know why it was removed from service don't you?

Yes, gotta agree... the HS125 is a beauty.. in 1980 I was 16 years old when I saw one at an airshow in Sydney, Australia, when it took off I was in awe of its power and beauty..
