i've recently been dabbling in video'ing some flights... i've got this brilliant video of australia's largest rc spitfire's test flight...now that was hairy!!!
rather than just videoing, i thought i'd at least produce it a bit.
i'll post that spitfire video in a new thread today sometime... .
i originally used the software that came with the jvc camcorder... pixela.
but it was a nightmare to use. so i am using just a failry old program for editing by Ulead. Video Studio.
once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy.
thanks for the comments on the flight... i guess im pretty proud of it coz that plane needs full rudder turns and is quite a handful as the aileron (wing warping) response is ok, but quite slow, so you need to react early to keep here on track... hence the term "phew!" at the end..

My Feedback: (1)
Very nice! I looks as if it performs much like [link=http://www.bealmear.com/dawn_patrol/fokker_e-1.htm]Art Shelton's 1/3 scale E-1[/link] with wing warping..... slow to respond.
But's that's scale in a nutshell right!
Tim, how about considering adding you and your Eindecker to the [link=http://www.bealmear.com/dawn_patrol/pilots%20and%20planes.htm]Pilots and Planes [/link] pages of our little RC Dawn Patrol site? We'd love to have someone from "Down Under"
And your E-111 is one of the best I've seen! (FYI- a formal invite is not required guys). [link=http://www.bealmear.com/dawn_patrol/P&P%20Info.htm]Pilots and Planes Submission info.[/link].

Love too!
I have migrated a bit to the 1/2A scale now...got a dr1, dvii and sopwith tripe all at around 35 inch span here to be powered by wasps...
i want to be able to drive to the field, not have to assemble, nor take a trailer- for a change...
do you take these scales?
i'd like to bring along a friend of mine also if i can... he's got a masterful tiger moth.
cheers!
Tim.
i'll put the scale prop on for the photos..and sigh... will get in the shot myself.. (way to ruin a good photo)
