Hope someone can help in search of Plans for a Curtis Hawk P6E. Hoping to find 1/4 or 1/3 scale. Hostetler has a 22% plan. First thoughts were to blow them up to 1/4 scale. Thought someone might have some info. If there is plans available in this size. Any info would be appreciated Thanks. Robt.

Richard Barron drew a great set of plans for the Hawk back in the early 80's. They are no longer available as Barron has passed away, but I'm sure some one has a copy somewhere. Seems to me you could enlarge the 22% plans of Hostetler. 3% ain't much. I built the Goshawk in 1/4 scale from Barron plans (The P6E is essentially the same a/c) and it is a pretty big model. WS is 96" Hope you can find the plans.

Thanks Bish, exactly what I'm loooking for. Guess I'll start a new thread looking for Richard Barron plans. Just discovered Hostetler will blow his plans up to any size. Or at least it's stated on the web site. I have the 22% plan. guess I'll try him. I'm just wondering if the blow up would show any differences in the sizes of certian things like notches and such. Ran into that before. Anyway thanks again. Robt.

There is a 1/4 scale P-6E in a Albuquerque hobby store for around 1600.00. Built sweet and ready to fly. I love the plane but I am into WWI planes. If interested let me know and I will forward the phone number or link to the store.
The person who built it might still have the plans and will part with. Do not know though.
