hi All,
We are looking into making a variety of ordancne packs for aircraft and need to decide on what to hold, in what scale etc.
We're thinking 'winders, amraams, pheonix,s drop tanks, gbus, gun pods, rocket launchers etc etc etc. bombs, gun sets, inline engine heads as well..
even things like flir pods...anything really.
We've noticed people asking before but now we're ready to start pumping them out.
I thought i'd post here to get a response, collate, then respond.
So please post what you'd like to see in this thread.
I look forward to the responses.
Tim.

I'd welcome some nicely molded inline engines for the WWI German planes along with the exhaust manifolds and pipes for example the smoke stack type of the early Albatroses or the heads and pipes on the SE5 or Bristol Fighter. Also some nice injected molded Spandau's and Parabellums at maybe 1/7th and 1/8th scale would be extremely welcome (and probably hot sellers). And now that I'm making out a wish list, how about some of the early wing and fuse mounted radiator types that are such a royal pain to scratch build.

What do you think of the Wright Bros. Spandaus?

Would you mind posting some bigger picture to see what sort of detail will be possible? The photos up now come up the size of postage stamps! Thanks.
BTW, Since I'm in Japan, I guess we're more or less in the same time zone.

The Williams Bros Spandaus (and other MG kits) seem to be the de facto standard in RC WWI modeling and are beautifully detailed. Nothing else even comes close. Unfortunately, 1/6 scale is the smallest them come in. I'd sure like to see some done in 1/8 scale.
As regards the Wright Bros. wood kits (and this goes for the ones being offered by Arizona Models) IMHO, they don't really cut it. I could probably do just as good a job (and have) scratch-building -- with the exception of the troublesome cooling jacket. This is one area where I think injection molded plastic is the only way to go for a serious scale rendition.
BTW, below are the William's Bros. 1/6 scale Vickers and Lewis and the minuture versions I scratch-built based on them.

You would do well if you decided to produce WWII ordinance in 1\3, 1\4, and 1\5 scales.
To date, there is very little if any. You might think about producing them in something a little more rugged that can be dropped.
