Just finished putting the covering on my little Cessna. It spans 35" 's, and weighs 8.75 oz's. Electric powered (...I know...electric ... .

Hope you fellas don't mind if I show it off a bit...also, ideas for finishing greatly appreciated...

Bob

...here is the floats I plan to use...17" 's and they weigh under 1.5 oz. I plan to make scale mounts for them.

I think it is going to be fun... !

Same kit...same plane. I thought I would bring mine over here to RCU since I haven't seen anything about it over here.

Dreamer (Martin) did a great job on his...beautiful. The only difference is I am going to try a geared sp280 in this one...might be too much but I can easily change to the recommended set-up.

Go to this link: http://www.airliners.net/
Scroll down to the spot where it says "Choose Aircraft Type"
and then click on the down arrow for a menu of aircraft. Then scroll down to Cessna 180/185 Skywagon, click on the "Show me the Photos" and wait for the first page to load. Once loaded, find the first picture of a 180 and set your cursor on the words "Cessna 180". You will note that they light up. Click on those words and wait a bit while the pictures are sorted by 180's. You will then have 79 pictures of Cessna 180's. You might find one that triggers some color scheme inspiration.

DO the same for the 185's as there are some very sharp colors there too!

Here is the Cessna with a shiny new paint job ...still need to do some identification #'s, and install windshield and struts.
