I'm at the point on my SR eindecker where i'm ready to install the bungee cord on the landing gear and tail skid. How do I do this and hold it in place? Thanks,
Bud

My preferred method is to passed end of the bungee cord through a small brass tube and crimp it.
On a historical note: One of the interesting innovations of the EIII design was that Fokker chose to place the suspension system at top of the undercarriage legs instead of the bottom at was the norm.

Bud,
You've probably read this elsewhere, but bind it pretty tight, or use thicker bungee than supplied - several people have reported catching the flying wires in the wheels on landing and ripping them (wires) out of wing.
I'm plodding along on my build - currently up to fuz hatch etc. I also modified anchor points in wings by threading solid blocks onto spar tubes, in part to prevent serious damage in event of the above scenario. Ties flying and landing wires together.
Happy building,
Cam
