RE: Best scale photo!
A couple of pages ago I was rattling on about the 99% of so called "level" passes wheren't level passes at all.
Instead they were banked passes, the inboard wing being low... even though it appears that the aircraft is flying level to the ground. The first picture is a typical example.
If you've been loosing points during your straight and level pass at a competition,
that last picture is a BRILLIANT example of how a level pass should look.

Not quite sure what or why you are on about level pass, I was not trying to do one for the camera, just thought it was a nice 'scale' photo.
Anyway we abolished straight pass in comps last year.
If you want to see competition flying the European scale chomps takes place at Starmoen just 100k to the north of you in 12 DAYS time!
See you there? (find the Swordfish)

That is absolutely perfect. No way at all to tell that isn't a real Farman and it's a great photo to boot! (When and were and whose, Frank?)

Gorgeous model, by the way, Richard! (I've seen the build thread over on RCSB.)

Hey Mike ( Lucky Dog ), re; Fokker D VI,It could almost pass for a fullsize replica......if only the builder had put the "N-struts" on correctly[X(]
I could be wrong but, I believe the middle strut of the "N" should connect the leading edge of the lower wing to trailing edge of the upper wing.
Oh-well.

Nice. The Spit shot sure looks like typical English weather to me! Perhaps if you cropped out the tree with the Mig?

Yes, you're right. The struts need to be the other way around...
