HEllo all,
I am wanting to build a B-52 with around a 6 foot wing span. Yes, I have read most of the threads around here of buids but they are a few years old. I would love to come across someone who would kit out a BUFF becuase I am not a good scratch builder. I have found plans but I don't know what "tiled" or "A4" plans means.
I saw a kit for a pusher prop but it is a little smaller than what I want. I don't mind a pusher prop, I just want as much size as I can get up to 6" WS. Electric pusher or EDF is fine. EDF would be cooler...
Anybody offering any help or advise?
Thanks folks in advance...

Tiled and A-4 refer to printing the plans on smaller sheets of paper (the A4 Euro eq 8.5X11) and taping the "tiles" together for a larger plansheet. If you have access to an electronic plan, there is usually a Kinkos or engineering copier place nearby that could print the larger plansheet at its original size. You might want to get two sets done. One to build on, the other to cut up for parts.
I have no idea of who would kit a B-52.

Just thought - What format "plans are you talking? 3-views, construction drawings, vues with sections??? also, what program are the associated with? CAD or drawing software?

I have some plans, complete, for a GIANT Buff. Now, what is giant? If I remember, about 120" or so. These are sheets, maybe 24-30"x8-10'. Could be, Laser Lizard has them in the computer. If not, they can cut a short/full kit for you from plans. If you like, e-mail me directly ([email protected]) and I'll go check the exact specs on the plans. I have been seriously thinking about that as my next project after my MIBO A-10, using all turbine.

Hi wartoy2020
Try this link:
https://shop.traplet.com/product.aspx?c=1020
it's for a set of plans for a very well known 60" 8 fan -G model designed by Chris Golds, one of the UK's most respected electric jet designers.
I know it's not 6' but it's a start.....
cheers
Rick
