Another option that master builder Don Coe use on this wing-warping AVRO is to actual cut and hinge the rear spar.

About 45 deg in total for the elevators and about 90 deg in total for the rudder.
Re the warping, you'll be surprised (as I was) to see how easily a wing warps. In mine instead of the twin 1/8" x 3/8" rear spars I just used the one. The wing section I undercambered by shallowly scalloping out between the two bottom spars. The rear spar was glued in in the normal way all the way out to the tips. Even covered there is no problem getting the required warp - using just a standard servo no less! |

Very much so. The rigid front spar helps the effectiveness of the warp.

Plastic coated fishing trace. Remember only the rear wires go through the pulley!! :D
