Default Dumas 20th scale pt hull correction

If I correct the Dumas 20th scale pt boat hull using the correction from Mosquito Boat? Will the hull be correct? I am told the deck on the Dumas boat dips down in the front to much. But to correct this I would have to raise the front of the deck by extending the sides up? I guess? Would this not also widen the hull at the front which flares out . Thanks, Randy.
