i got all the animation and eclectics dun. just have to dirty it up. you know, give it that old used, working,rustic look. what do you all think of the real air whistle?

How about a picture/video of the mechanism that you used to open the door and have the captain come out.

Lionel did the door opening and the railman coming out years ago. The mechanism isn't too hard to figure out. Basically servo operated with a couple levers or piano wire. The anchor operation could be done with 2 switches activated by the pay out and run in of the line. I don't know if that is how you did it? The way you did do it was pretty nice though.
