RE: buoys
i made them from the top to bottom they are two inches and they are 1-1/2 wide they are alittle big for some scale boats but they work for the bigger scale boats i just had enough metal eyelites for acouple of them so later today after a neighbor picks up there child good friday i'm headed right out to get some of the smallest metal eyelite i can get. it was just an idea i had to start making parts i haven't seen before. thanks for the compliment on them. i had a problem withthe orange so i can do the in a couple different colors and i'll start playing with different sizes for the smaller boats soon i'm also making a life ring instead of the plastic one i've seen.

RE: buoys
no not a bobber but i though of it they are heavier than what is used plus the spring top just doesn't work to put a metal eyelet in it i even tried a balloon and coated it but after the balloon was popped and i filled it with air they didn't hold up. but these i can do in different colors i was trying a orange but didn't work i'm going to try again later but red, yellow, blue, black and white
