The depth you can achieve is limited by the radio, and the frequency used. Higher freq ( a higher # HRZ or chanel#) will have less ability to penatrate the water. The lower freq, strangely enough, will penatrate further ( it is a longer wavelength, less affected by the water) but with standard (legal) r/c gear, usually about 5 or 6 feet will be max depth before control is lost. Seriously, though, unless you have a camera, with an equally penatrating freq, you probably can't see that deep, that well, unless your in a pool, or other equally exciting venue. Sean

I beleive I saw in a movie one time where the captain said....

How about Operation Petticoat...
The guest wakes up in the officers' quarters and doesn't know the sub has dived.
At something the captain says he gets wide-eyed and says,
"We're under? What if we can't..." (gets scared...motions up)
"Oh!" says the captain. "If we can't...
(captain motions up),
then we
(motions
waaay
down ! )
."
