RE: Das Boot U-XXI
Nice XXI grey wolf ,I love the Robbe XXI it is so large so light ,strong and lots of details pre done no hasles,my most favorite sub!
After I modified mine right out of the box she dives staticly and hovers, even water cooled motors, hydraulic retracting dive planes ,nave lightsand masts.
The only thing I did not like was the casing it was held together with just one long bolt that latter broke ,so that had to go!
Fortunatly I had my Aquacasing ready to fit into a 4 inch dia.sleve to replace the original casing.
Made a huge difference and even built one for a freind totaly modified from the box,now the XXI is a truely reliable magnificent machine and since it is so largeso many cool things can be added even a remotly controled anchor and winch.
Inbetween the 2 hulls there is plenty of space for foamand the above goodies, dont worry about the3 inchcasing there is also plenty of space to spareif one uses Lipo packs, mine has 2ea 5700mamph that take up very little space,I even have added a wireless Telemitrysystem to minitor a host of peramiters from Lipo alarm and usage, depth the sub goes thats right, motortemps ,internal casing pressure positive and negative ,water alarm and even servo positions.
Is yours a static diver, have you done any modifications?
