Default EL Mod

I am going to use an El- mod set up for my Leopard. I have never entered new sounds in mine, and always use the factory default. However I want to upload Leopard sounds, and was wondering if anyone has been through this drill before. Do you just remove the SD card, and using software reload new sounds?????

IF anyone has experience with this I wouldn't mind hearing how it is done.

Hey YHR,

Actually it's fairly easy to install new sounds in your EL Mod SD card..
first you need a something that will read and write to the SD card, be it a lap top , PC or an adapter.
Next upon opening the SD card you will see a set of folders with numbers these are your blaster directories (do not change these, just the contents)
select the folder you wish to change and open it delete the current contents of that folder and copy in the new sounds from the replacement folder Example : like from the LEO folder
Does this help you?

Regards,

Bullyhys

Dan, were you installing sounds already on the card or installing Leo sounds from an outside source? I was wondering how this can be done.</p>

I foundsome Leo sounds on board. From a Leopard 1, but that will have to do for now.

I spent all day at the workbench. Wiring in the EL MOD and casting some parts. I got a couple of lazers working for fun as well. I'll post some pictures soon. I discovered the screens on the exhaust actually come apart. I mounted two speakers in the holes and reinstallws the see through grating.

Moving into the turret now. About to redo the recoil.

The recoil is a little funky. Someone had posted a small mod on here on how to get it timed correctly. In stock trim it is late I guess you would call it. the barrel retracts then the gun sounds. It works on a cam on the gun unit and this mod got the timing worked out so it is correct but I don't remember who made the post.
