Hi,
I'm having a had time finding the below items.
Does anyone know if they make a U. S. Army flatbed tractor/trailer R/C Scale 1/16?
I would like to haul my M26 Pershing 1/16 Tank.
Thanks,
Bobbart

Not one that is on the market. I'm sure there have been plenty scratch built, thats the way you will need to go. some guys use the Tamiya king Hauler and modify it to look like a WWII truck.

Hi Bobbart,
The tractor looks like a custom based on the Hasbro Indiana Jones German truck and the trailer is possibly from another toy I've seen. I can't quite tell. My buddy Willy is the king of 1/16 tank recover trucks. My other buddy Brett B from our NEAD tank group, also has a recovery truck he brings to our battle days. Here are some pix and links to assist you. I've also sent you a PM about joining or NEAD group since you are so close to many of us northeast tankers.
NEAD is found at..... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/queenspanzergroup/
Willy is found here..... http://www.customrcmodels.com/ Tell Willy Bob from NJ sent you....

I thought you got all your questions answered in your original thread:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10031285/tm.htm
Why another thread ... just add to the existing one? Willy is the one you need to get a hold of on a truck R/C project. That or just find a 1/14 - 1/12 kit on eBay.
Here are a few forums to further inquire on:

Hi, If money is not an issue, Wedico (Germany) is a good option in 1/16. A complete RC kit plus the low boy trailer would cost under $2,000. Check out Gardentrucking.com

IbelieveGardenTruckinghas closed it's forums. I also if memory serves me the store is also being closed. This is a bummer for me, because they had a lot of parts I will be needing for my 1: HEMMT I was going too build. I'm pretty sure it was the fuel tank version I was going to model as the Abrams tanks are fuel hogs. thats one of the biggestcriticismsof the Abrams. They also use a modular system for the HEMMT's. You can make a wrecker and recovery version, also a tractor for towing a trailer with a tank on it.

Sorry I didn't reply back. My computer had a virus and I had to re-install everything.
I think my wife got the virus from doing homework on the internet.
I was working with Tech Support for 4 days and they could not haep me...what a waste of time.
So I didn't have an updated Image of my system and had to re-install.
My system was getting HIT with IP's from Russia.
I will need to read all the post sometime today. I still have some software to install and will try to make a new image of the system.

Hi Bob,
My personal laptop is down too. I'm using the one I gave my wife her for her last birthday so I'm missing a lot of pix and video editing software. It is very aggravating. Hopefully we will bing my laptop back from the dead. Good luck with yours.
