I know that the pitch is different with the Mato and tamiya Tiger 1 sprockets. I am using KK tracks with tamiya sprockets. KK fits perfectly. Very sturdy tracks.

KK = Kenny Kong...he's one of the original metal track manufacturers...been around quite a while...and his tracks are very good..

Mato metal tracks fit Tamiya KT quite well. It also performed well in battle conditions here in DAK-Phoenix.

In all honesty, I have both Impact tracks and 2 sets of Kenny's. One on the Tamiya Pershing and one on my Tiger 1. The Imapcts are on my PZIII. They are both very good quality and both very detailed. I think it comes down to personal preference. I can tell you that they are much heavier and more durable than the HL tracks and they are much more detailed as well. HL's on the other hand are much cheeper, if that's a concern.

Thanks Yellowshaker,
That is what I wanted to hear. It' s Not so much the cost as it is Quality , performance and detail, I do not have a KT yet, but I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row first so I can get all the parts and ugrades together.
The Tamiya is going to be my detail "KING" and my HL is going to be my backyard bruiser.

No problem. I am thinking about buying a KT as well. I like that tank and there are alot of things you can do to make it a very good fighter. I too am a believer in quality of parts. My KK tracks haev not let me down and they are on my fighter, the Tiger 1. The Perhsing is not one I use for battling, but those tracks added a lot to the tank. You can't go wrong. Keep us posted on your plans for the future KT. We all love to see one of them come to life!

I have had Impact KT Tracks on my KT for some time now great tracks just look out if you get the 18 tooth version called late tracks the impact 18 tooth sprockets have a problem but can be fixed by getting Kenny Kong 18 tooth sprockets now my KT turns with no track jumping around on sprockets .
