I think they are 6mm size bb's. I also saw this about bb's in the Tank FAQ

If you want good BB's use the bio kind BIO SHOT are real good and if you want something that degrades faster the P FORCE bio BB's are good also they come in .20gm.
If you want to have a mess all around and pollut the earth you can go for a .12 BB like the glow crossman kind.

Personally I like the Crossman Glo bb's. They have good tolerance in the spheriocity and the parting seam is negligible. I think it is really fun watching the airsoft balistics as the bb's fly. It really gives you an idea of how the system operates and how crazy some of the curve balls are.

Feeding the squirrels is not polluting the earth!

Several years ago we tested about 6 different BBs and found the Crosman .12g Glos to be the best. Mato Mart upgrade BBs, CMYK? brand were a very close second. The data is here on the forum somewhere.

I doubt that there are alot of 12gm BB's out there that are probably much better than the crossman .12 bbs they are actually kind of dull and rough I am sure you can find a better .12 BB but i never looked as i use .20gm BB only.

I think the green ones are just like the Crossman's but the red ones could be very cool. I wish they had a vid of those. I think I will give them a try. Could be cool when mixed together.
