I hope my son realises just how lucky he is. not many kids have climbed all over a KT.
Just ask hehehehe I climbed onto this Bovington KT and inside, just ask the museum for permission!

Yes the Museum is moving to FT Benning along with the Armor Center and Schools.

I've driven an Abrams lots of times. Not really that exciting. Kinda like a giant atv.
How is driving an Abrams anything like a ATV? I spent 11 years in and around tanks most of which were M1's in combat and in Garrison. Tested and issued new variants like the M1 Panther II which was a radio controlled plow tank without a turret.

I don't think you have to be famous to drive the Abrams..just have a lot of money to ''donate'' to the government. LOL

This guy was famous for taking people's money and he got a ride in an Abrams. Thankfully for America, he never command of even one!

yep the KT is a BIG TANK had a look at one at bovington and the 131 TIGER1. One of the things to do and cos I was 57 years young seemed the time to do it.

Someday I'd LOVE to get to Bovington...Lord knows when that will be. You Brits are lucky to have it so close!
