Pershing Sue, EDIT Final Cut.
I dropped the Benedini card into my Pershing. Sound files need a little work still arond the transition to idle, but the screaming Ford is there in all its glory.

Very nice....now that sounds pretty authentic. Does it have the shifting sounds from L to H, or straight wind up? What's the scoop on the Benedini...$$$, avail, dealer???

The Benedini TBS mini is priced at 99 Euros, and available from Thomas Benedini's website.
You need to have a hobby receiver, so in this case I am using a DBC 2HL.
THe unit itself is easy to hook up. You plug in a servo cable and hook up the speaker and away you go. I bought the programming cable so I could build my own sounds. THis unit was designed for electric airplanes, and THomas does not have Tank sounds on the web page yet. I built this sound pack using sounds from a real Pershing, so the resemblance is quite authentic. The Ford was geared low and really screamed. I guess I don't need to tell you that!!!!!!
I am quite impressed with them. They are not cheap though especially when you get them shipped from Europe. Benedini is well know in large scale tanks, but they haven't focused on the 1/16 scale market.
This is a sound system only, but it is a good one. The thing is tiny. No bigger then an HL receiver, so it is easy to fit in anywhere.
I am learning all I can about them.

Ok. I went back and fine tuned this once again. I am happy with this effort and the transition and smoothness throughout the throttle range.

Here is an actual Pershing

So I think this is a wrap on the Pershing Sound file.

Excellent sound! Your Pershing is one great sounding tank especially as it revs up! How much did you have to spend on the sound upgrade to achieve such a deep, throaty engine sound?
