Default Heng Long Tiger Gun Barrel

Hi All

Does anybody know how to seperate the gun barrel on my HL Tiger, to put a shop(ebay) bought barrel extension tube in, to make it the correct length.
Also, does the airsoft still work.
Any comment grateful.

Cheers

Mark on the first tank I mod'd. I really screwed it up. So here is what I did on the next try.

Remove the aluminum barrel from inside the plastic outer housing now you can cut the plastic where it shows.

Fit the aluminum barrel inside the extension sleeve. You might have to do some filing and sanding to get it through.

Now reassemble you gun with the extension.

CAUTION!!!! Be very careful not to damage that little rubber ring on the breech end of your barrel. Mess that up and you will have to replace it or the gun.

I mod'd Tiger A23 as above and it shoots great. It is my one and only shooter. The rest have high voltage flash units.

Use a tubing cutter. That way you can do it without disassembling everything. Just dont cut all the way through the inner tube. You will need to file the inside of the extension for the aluminum inner tube to fit through it. The gun will not perform as well as it did originally either. The longer the barrel the less performance from the gun.
The exact opposite from the real tank guns.
