Default Track Problem on Panther HL

A friend has an HL Panther, non S &S, that tends to have one rear track slip out of place. The sprocket is tight. Overall the tracks seem to be more lose than my HLPershing. Should I consider removing one track or is there a better way to tighten these up?
Thanks,
442Man

I suggest counting lnks.

Mine came with 89, I reduced it to 88 and it works quite well now on grass that is cut short.  Never throws a track, now.

Jjust check to make sure they are not too tight, if you do that.

If he has a NON S&S Panther it is the Pantiger not the new Panther G. It is most likely due to the old wobbly idler wheels. Take the track off and split the idler wheel and add some washers as shims to reduce the wobble.
