Happy New Year guys.....
I can't believe 2010 is almost over. I was a very good year for RC tanking for me. I attended six battle-weekends in Danville and one with Texas Armor near Houston. I had a great time everywhere I went and made some great friends. These RC tankers are the heart of this hobby. We may scrap and argue a little here and there on the forums but all they guys I have met have been gentleman. Our North East Armored Division (NEAD) had four battledays this year and I'm sure more are planned for 2011. We have risen to 65 members in NEAD. By this time next year I should be retired. I hope that this will allow me more trigger time. I hope you all get thie time you need to finish those winter projects you have planned. I just heard that the Danville event for the 8th of January has been extended to two days. I can't make that one but those who are closer I hope will attend. NEAD will have a winter battleday very soon. It will be in the snow for very hearty souls who can bear it. I'm looking at Sunday the 16th of January so you NEAD guys and whomever is in the NYC metro area mark your callendars accodingly. Please keep the AAF Tank Museun Tank Extravaganza in mind on you Spring calandar. If you have never been to Danville this is the premier event for the year. It will be held the weekend after Easter: April 29th, 30th and May 1st, 2011. Do not miss this.
