Transmitter Question Tamiya/El Mod
Ok guys, I've scraped together some pennies and am ready to buy some real electronics or tank. My choices are between El Mod in my HE Leo 2 or a Tamiya Sherman FO kit. The problem is, my shiny new radio has been sitting in a box for 2yrs now and the only time it was used was on a DBC and they didn't play nice together (lag, inconsistent, etc...). So I come to you experts with the question of which of the above option will my radio work better with? Compatibility with my existing gear will determine which project I donate my $$$ too.

Freq Module: Hitec TX Spectra Synthesized RF Module 75MHz All 30 Ch
http://shop.tomsrc.com/product_info....roducts_id=648
The spectra module will synthesize any frequencies in the surface band allowing transmission on any channel of the 75 MHz band; from channel 61 (75.410 MHz) all the way to channel 90 (75.990 MHz). Any one of the 30 channels at your choosing. Simply remove the module, and dial in the channel of your choice and snap it back to the TX. Fantastic!
Depending on the capabilities of the Transmitter, the module will work with both PPM and PCM modulations.
Compatible transmitters:
Eclipse
Prism 7
Lynx 3D
Optic 6
Agressor CRX
Agressor SRX
Although the module will also work with Futaba transmitters, this is not "sanctioned" and will also void the warranty.

RE: Transmitter Question Tamiya/El Mod
The only thing I seem to remember is that the tamiya electronics don't particularly work well with the HiTec radio. I believe it was that one. I do know there is one TX out there that is a real problem with the Tamiya gear, just cant be sure which one it was.
