Taimiya metal tracks or aftermarkets for the Tamiya Tiger
I am debating which way to go with the metal tracks .
Are the Tamiya units better or as good as some of the high end tracks like KK ones ?
Has anyone compared the two ?
Thanks for advice .

The Tamiya tracks are relatively new too the market, so there may not be as much info out on them yet.
I suspect the quality will be very good so you should have no problems. Also they will fit the Tamiya standard sprockets and idler wheels with out problems. Most track builders have their own sprocket and idler wheel combo's that need to be utilized. I am not sure if KK's tracks are this way or if you can use the standard sprockets and idlers.

How new are they ?
Has anyone tried them on their Tamiya tigers 1 ????
thanks Panther G
So you mean to tell me that KK tracks will need other parts too or are they direct replacements ?

$140, they have (or had) 3 types, Tiger I, King Tiger and Panther tracks, but all sold out.
$175 is just a crazy price, the seller will have a hard time selling it. Unless Tam's track is gold pated.
anyone had a Tam track to make a fair comparison?

Who ever is selling the Tamiya tracks foe that kind of money must be nuts. Especially when you can get KK's for less even with the 30.00 bucks shipping.
Standard Tamiya tracks usually run around 60 to 90 dollars depending on which tank.
