I wanted to use the turret from a static Stuart on my rc version and wanted the turret to rotate like the rc version but wanted to keep the full turret bucket of ther static version. So with the tubes from some bic type ball point pens I modified the rc turret mechanism to accept the static turret. I cut the pen barrels to lower the turret mechanism to allow the turret tub to fit. The pics show how the mod was done. The static turret now rotates just like the rc turret did.
