I got two notifications of shipping delays due to weather. People can't get to work. Delivery companies can't do pick-ups

I don't know about the Matorro JT, but ETO carries the Hooben T-55 kit.

Do you read the forums??? There must be ten threads stating that ETO carries the Hooben kits.

Geez people! I know what ETO is, I just forgot their name! The last time I visited that site was over a year ago so sorry for forgetting! Also, I do not work for Awesome Hobbies in any way, I live in St.Louis Missouri USA, not Floodville Australia!!!! And just because I made a mistake doesn't mean that you have to drag my age into this, I did say that " to my knowledge " not stating that I was 100% sure. I spend a lot of my time researching tanks/afvs, so please do not say things like I'm stupid when it comes to this stuff.

No one calle you stupid pal. But for someone who asks so many questions over and over, yet continues to talk about one vendor as the best and only one to carry parts, you are either misinformed or you did not do your homework. Your grade is an F.

A little off topic how's the weather around about Connecticut region? I have a chap who unfortunately hasn't received his items and it's been two weeks.

Regarding the shipping I would wait a little longer, a lot of the time things hardly ever arrive on time. I thought it might have been awesome, I've been looking for the Jagdtiger for awhile and they are the only retail vendor. I can order them in quantity but shipping is always a killer.

Figure on 6 weeks to the US from Europe, based on recent personal experience.
After the exploding printer cartridge plot everything is getting run thru a fine tooth comb before being allowed into the US - Welshdragon has an advisory on his site to this effect.

As you said, they're in Floodville Australia, getting your atlas out, or firing up Google Maps/Earth would have you seeing that its near Brisbane (closer to Gold Coast actually), and that shipments would likely be coming out of Brisbane, which is still reeling from the flooding two weeks ago. They have problems just getting food into the state capital, and I could imagine a box of toys would be low on the priority list. You should send them an email and ask what's going on, whether there's been shipping delays, or whatever.

Most parcels to the US are getting delayed due to more security checks, something to do with finding explosives in ink cartridges.

Off ebay-
Following a recent incident with an improvised explosive device on a US bound aircraft, all packages to the US will be subject to stricter screening by US authorities. This could lead to delays in your items being delivered to customers in the US.

If you sell to the US, you should:

Amend your listing description to point out that delivery may be delayed for the above reason
When a sale is made, manage your customer’s expectations by reminding them about why delivery may be delayed
Contact your delivery company (eg Royal Mail service) to obtain up-to-date information on delivery services to the US
Regards
The eBay Team

As said earier everything shipped is taking time due to terrorists activities. better safe than sorry and that is the way that it is going to be for a long time. As an example I ordered some parts from a supplier across the pond and it took a month and up until the attempt in December I was receiving parts from the same supplier in 7-10 days. Also, been waiting for parts from Wecohe for over a month and communication has been sloppy  due to the long cold spell in Germany. They are having severe problems with telephones and internet, not their fault and I know the orders will arrive as in the past. I would suggest that if you want something in a hurry that you search here in the States first? Also all if my orders from ETO arrive in 3-4 days. Relax guy

Thanks for the input guys, Iknew about the increased security but not about any weather problems the east was having. International delivery is a bit hit or miss at the moment and it doesn't seem to matter where you are sending from, or to.

Why did you feel the need to apologize for not being able to do a review? IMO that is very strange or very vain on your part.
