If there any CAN-AM or future CAN-AM members interested in meeting at the BlackCreek Community center on Saturday March 26th at around 10am to do some battlefield planning and construction, let me know.

We hope to do some digging, so bring a shovel and a RC Tank or two to test the field out. Weather Permitting!!!

Might bring the newly finished Jagdpanther for it's first outing, along with the Stug, although expect this day might be more work than play.

Wish I could make it down guys, but I'm still in harness.

The good news is that nephew-twerp is being given an ultimatum: he can either pony up, or walk; if he just dawdles and tries to put it off the issue, he's ~walking~, as its MY CAR. And this time, my father (his ONLY backup driver) is backing me. He won't drive either. Time has come to put an end to things...

And a salesman that has to walk ~these~ days generally gets canned REALLY fast, right? Even as good a salesman as he is... (and we all admit, Mom, Dad & I, that he ~is~ good...)

Only downside is I'll probably be pissing off the money he owes me... and will probably be between 2200 to 2300 by the deadline.

And that would make a pair of nicely tricked Leo 2A6's... or one, and a T-55, and summat else... (been eying a Waran hull (stretched M113 a-la-MTVL program) from Peter Mueller...)

I may be one hour late due to the fact that it is on the same day as the Military Show and I have to see a friend about some stuff.

I staked out the field this weekend to set the boundaries. There is a low spot as seen in the below satellite photo that could be a concern. We may want to dig a river bed from it to the drainage ditch to keep things some what dry and give us bridge crossings. In all the field was not swampy.

I hope the weather report is wrong, they are calling for 5 to 7 inches of snow here in the next 24 hours and temperatures below freezing for a few days aftr that.

Well its not looking good for Saturday. 4" of snow on the ground and freezing temperatures.
