well, i just got the new hl pershing, and it works fine, but my problem is that the tank is slow at responding to the controls. i tried fresh batteries, but it did the same thing. when i push the turret left on the controller, it won't move till the tank movement control is being pushed, and from certain postions, 10 feet away, it won't even register that i am controlling it with the controller, do i change the main funtion board, or the other green circut board, any suggestions

Can't offer you much info on your problem.I would open it up and look over the antena wire junction and where it connects to the wire antena itself.Look over all the wires in general and the connectors-if it's a later model tank.Don't think it would involve the crystals but it would not hurt to pull and reinstall them to make sure they are seated good.If it is not receiving a good strong signal through the antena wire it would for sure give you range problems.

I use the KISS principle. Try another set of all new batteries annd verify that they are in correctly in both the TX and the tank. Make sure your TX antenna is firmly screwed in and both crystals good are secure. Try touching the TX antenna to the tank antenna. See if it makes a difference. You may want to try another TX if you have a spare. You may also want to try a difffent location as you may have some RF interference issues. If all these fail then open the tank and check the ant. wires and the boards.

Good luck with the replacement. Phil at rctankwars.com has built a very good business in selling guaranteed to run HL tanks. Even with Mato Toys it is still a gamble. But HL quality is significantly better than it used to be.
